The Forgotten Paths

After discovering the hidden world beneath the Whispering Baobab, Amara thought she was beginning to understand Koruma. Then ancient Storykeeper waystones in the Twin Valleys begin turning towards a road no one has followed for generations. Amara, Kito, Sewa, Tarek and Storykeeper Lumo choose to follow the forgotten path beyond the eastern ridge. What begins as a search for answers soon becomes a journey through a much wider Koruma, where old bridges still stand, Storykeeper Houses welcome travellers, and distant communities preserve fragments of songs, traditions and knowledge believed lost to time. Along the way, they encounter Abeni, a Path Keeper whose surviving tradition challenges what they thought they knew about the old roads. As different paths begin to converge, Amara discovers that no single person or community carries the whole story. The Forgotten Paths is the second novel in The Koruma Series, an African inspired young readers fantasy adventure about friendship, discovery, memory and the connections that endure when people choose to maintain them.
